Fall Cocktail Part 2: Cider Geniever

Okay, ready for the next installment in my fall cocktail series featuring New England’s own apple cider? Perfect, because today’s the day! If you missed the first post for Cider Mimosas you can see it HERE.  The Cider Mimosas are simple to make and only need two ingredients, today’s Cider Geniever are equally easy to create but you will need more than two ingredients. You will need three!

Cider Geniever:
6 oz Apple Cider
2 oz Gin
Ice
A fresh squeeze of Lemon

Mix the gin, cider and lemon juice together and pour over ice.
Option to serve with a slice of lemon.

Does the phrase “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” apply in when it’s apple cider mixed with gin? I’m going to go with yes. Cheers!
